Two weeks and Growing

Graham turned 2 weeks old last Thursday and he's a growing boy.  For a breastfeeding mom it is always reassuring when you go to your anticipated follow-up weight check appointment with your newborn and he's GAINING weight.  Yes, this is a successful moment in a mother's eyes, although it isn't really anything that a mother can control but hey it makes you feel reassured.
Graham surprisingly not only surpassed his birth weight at his 2 week check-up, but he was just shy of being 1 pound heavier than his birth weight and he had gained just over a pound since his 5 day check-up.  Little brother may end up being bigger than big brother, we'll see.

Birth weight- 7 lbs, 9.6 ounces
Weight prior to leaving hospital- 7 lbs, 2.6 ounces
5 day old check-up weight- 7 lbs. 8 ounces
2 week old check-up weight- 8 lbs, 9 ounces; 50th percentile for age/weight.

I think we have an efficient eater on our hands.
