It is important for us as parents to remember that our actions usually speak LOUDER than words!
A child learns by example, through observation of his surroundings, and through interactions with those around him. He will likely say and do, as Mommy and Daddy do! As a mom I've experienced many incredible feelings, but there is something special about the feeling you get when you hear someone compliment your child/children on their behavior and when you hear your child using his manners, as you've tried to teach him to do so.
It is such a joy to me to hear Core say, " thank you Momma" or " thank you" to someone else without having to prompt him. Now don't get me wrong, he still has to be prompted from time to time, but he's learning to use his manners ( and that's what matters) and it makes my heart smile when he does. :)
