Folsom Safari

Poppie recently went to Africa for work and while he was there he went on an African Safari.   Core really enjoyed looking at all the pictures of the different animals Poppie saw while he was there on safari; he especially liked the pictures of the lions and rhinos.
While we were in Covington recently, Poppie took his grandchildren for a safari adventure at Global Wildlife.  Core and I had never been there, so it was a real treat for us and we had a great time.  We got to see all the animals up close, especially the giraffes.  They nearly got in the jeep with us!

There were a lot of Fallow deer.
There were several little babies as well.

This is an Elan.
He was pretty aggressive and greedy.
He yanked the cup of corn right out of Cameron's hands.

 Core and Paw Paw

This giraffe reached right in to the jeep and helped himself to some corn.
He was actually very calm and gentle.
Hello Racing Stripes

 A pout face from Core.

Stopping for a pic.

Kinda looks like he's smiling at them.
