Part of being a sibling and having a sibling is learning to share. This is the road we are currently on in our household and one of Core's first lessons in sharing with his brother has been learning to share his Mommy and Daddy. This is a process all older children must learn as they go from being an only child and getting all the attention, to being one of two children and now sharing Mommy's and Daddy's attention. Both children need love, affection, and attention, sometimes together as brothers, in our case, and sometimes separately as individuals. As a new parent of two, I am quickly learning that it is sometimes challenging to give them each your undivided attention, but it is not challenging to share your love with them; that part comes naturally.
Core is adjusting well and LOVES his baby brother very much! He's learning to share and he has even started sharing his lulu ( aka lovey) with Graham and this is a big deal for a little man who loves his lulu very much.
