Mommy's Project 52:41 Entertaining

Being a mom, I quickly learned that children can be quite entertaining, especially with their vocabulary and some of the things they say unexpectedly. For this post,  I thought I would share some of the randomly funny things Core has said lately.

- Core came home from school the other day and picked up a glass of lemonade that Chris had been drinking, took a big gulp, and then said, "that's goolicious"!  He continues to use this terminology about things he eats and really likes. We of course keep telling him that it's pronounced delicious and not goolicious, but it's goolicious to him for now.

- A few mornings ago, I was changing Core's diaper after he pooped and as I was changing him he said, " I have mud butt".  I thought I misunderstood him, so I asked him what he had said and the response was the same, " I have mud butt".  We have Daddy to think for this one.  Apparently, this is what Chris tells him when he changes his dirty diapers.  I am sure his teachers at school just love this saying.

- On Mother's Day morning after Core had eaten a big breakfast, he looked down at his belly, patted it and said, "I have a baby Graham in here".  Guess he was feeling pretty full!

Kids are entertaining little people and you just can't make this stuff up.  I am so grateful for my little ones and the little things  they do that make me smile.  They not only say some pretty funny things, but they frequently do some funny things as well.  The other night I went to check on Core, as I usually do before I  go to bed and he was fast asleep and wearing his crocs in bed.  I thought what in the world, I know Chris didn't let him wear his crocs to bed.  Sure enough he must have woken up, went and put them on, and got back into bed.  Silly boy!
