New School- Parkview Baptist

Core started a new school, Parkview Baptist Preschool,  almost 3 weeks ago, and little brother Graham started the following day.  Core is super excited that he and Graham are going to the same school and he especially likes dropping Graham off in his infant class before I take him to his class in the " big kids' " building.  I'm a little late with these pics, but here are the boys on each of their first days at Parkview Baptist Preschool.

Core's first day: June 25,2012
He was ready with his backpack on and loaded with a change of clothes... just in case.  We are potty training and I'm happy to say he hasn't needed that change of clothes at school yet.  Yea, big boy Core!

And off we go!

 Graham's first day: June 26, 2012

Graham was sleeping when I dropped him off on his first day and he never skipped a beat; but he sure was exhausted that night!  He slept for 3 hours straight ( in his car seat- that NEVER happens) after I picked him up, woke for a bath and to eat and was then back to sleep without a peep for the night.

Dressed for my first day of school.
I love this little monkey outfit.

Happy boy!
Graham's teacher, Mrs. Amy, took this picture of him for us.
I love his little smile; he smiles with his entire face, eyes and all.

We are nearly 3 weeks in and the boys are adjusting well.  Graham honestly never really skipped a beat ( he didn't know any different ), except that he hasn't been napping very well at school and he's only taking little cat naps here and there.  However, Core took the change from his last school to his new school a little harder, but I think this week he has fully adjusted.  He's gone from whining and asking us not to leave him, to this morning he hugged me and said, " bye mom" and ran off to play.  Also, for the past 2 days he's asked to stay longer when Chris or I went to pick him up.  So I am taking this as a good sign that he is enjoying his new class, his new teacher, Ms. Vanya, and his new friends.  I am very thankful he is happy and adjusting well.
