HAPPY BIRTHDAY CORE!

Core turned TWO today!  Happy Birthday Core!
We had a fun filled day.  Chris and I were off today and we spent the day with our little man to celebrate his second birthday.  It's hard to believe he is already 2.
Today was a day of FUN for Core from start to finish.

We started our morning by having chocolate chip pancakes and bacon for breakfast.  BACON is definitely one of Core's favorite foods. We have to limit him to only 2 pieces because he literally would keep eating it if we would let him.

After breakfast, we took Core to the Bouncing Tiger jump place for some fun.

Core climbed up this big slide all by himself.
Unfortunately, I couldn't get a pic of him sliding down because the slide was turned
out of view of my camera and he came down too fast!

Next we went to the mall for lunch and then let Core ride the carousel. Yes, our mall has a carousel in the middle of the food court.  Core rode it last year for his 1 year birthday as well, so I guess we're starting a tradition.  This year he really enjoyed it and he smiled the entire time.  He rode it three times and then cried when we left because he wanted to keep riding it.

After lunch, we went home and Core took a much needed nap.

Then before long, he was up and ready to go so more.  We then let him open a few birthday presents and play with his presents outside.  Core has really gotten into the art of opening presents, as as soon as he sees one he starts tearing it open and screaming, " What is it? ".  It's really fun that he gets so excited, but we're trying to teach him that all presents are not for him.  I guess this understanding will come with age.

Core had a blast playing outside with his new toys.

He loved his new mini roller coaster.

He even tried to put his tractor and lawn mower on it.

Then it was time for some Tee-Ball with Daddy.

My handsome boys.

And after dinner, we had cake and ice cream of course.  YUM!

Then our little man was off to bed.  We had a great day! All that fun, made for one tired little boy.

Night Night birthday boy!
