This weeks topic couldn't have come at a more appropriate time for us. Just yesterday when I picked Core up from school, his teacher told me that he was a " BIG HELP" to her. When I asked his teacher, Ms. Danielle, what she meant she said, " that Core was the only one in the class that helped her pick up the classroom and clean-up everyday before story time". I have to admit that this was a proud moment for me. Chris and I have been teaching him at home to help us clean up by putting away all his toys and putting his books back on his bookshelf before bed and it must be sinking in and rubbing off at school. Yes, a moment of successful discipline. I think part of this has to do with his tendency towards having a little OCD behavior but hey I'll take it. Hopefully this habit will be one that sticks with him and he will continue to be a " BIG HELP" as he gets older.
