Your Baby Might be a Redneck If...

He has ridden in his car seat wearing only his diaper, socks, and shoes!  And after tonight I can say that Core has done just that and he did it quite happily I might add.  You just can't make this stuff up!

To further explain...We had ANOTHER OH S*#! moment tonight, literally!  We went out for a family dinner and had just ordered our appetizer when Core had "his serious look" come over his face and yep he began to poop. No big deal you may think and we did too.  We gave him ample time to make sure he was finished with his business and then Chris took him outside to the car to change his diaper.  A few minutes later I received a phone call on my cell from Chris and i thought to me self, " why is he calling me". So I answer and he asks, " do we have a change of clothes for Core in the diaper bag"?  And I then look to see and of course we DON'T.  That's right mommy forgot to pack an extra outfit this time because I thought oh we're just going for a quick dinner. Well Core had an EXPLOSIVE poop and it went EVERYWHERE, out his diaper and all over his shirt and shorts!  I couldn't help but laugh as i thought about Chris having to call to tell me this and not to mention that he was outside with Core in the parking lot now with just his diaper on and poop everywhere.  So, I immediately asked for our appetizer and Core's dinner to go ( as I had ordered it as well at this point) and explained our little incident to our waiter. She was very understanding. As I sat there waiting for our food, I couldn't help but giggle, because here we were having to go home because Core soiled his clothes and we were unprepared. I NEVER thought Core would ride in his car seat in just his diaper, but what else were we to do!?!  It didn't phase him in the least. He talked and sang the entire way home.  He was quite a sight to behold!

I'm sure this won't be the last time something like this happens, but I sure can tell you that next time we'll be prepared. As soon as we got home I put a change of clothes in Core's diaper bag just in case we need it for our next outing.
