18 Months and growing

Core had his 18 month appointment this afternoon. He received 2 shots! He took it like a champ and didn't even cry til the second shot. Mrs. Brittney gave him his shots today and she's a very nice nurse.  She actually worked as one of the admitting nurses with me on the pediatric floor at the Lake, before moving over the Dr. Funes office.  We were sad to see her go, but so happy to have her become Core's nurse.
Some good news regarding shots, is that Core will not get any further immunizations until his 4 year appointment.  Although, he will of course receive his influenza vaccination every winter.

Core continues to be in the 25% for weight at 23 lbs, 14 ounces and the 45% for height at 32 inches.
Dr. Funes ( Dr. Chris) was very happy to see Core and thought we was doing GREAT!   They even played the tickle game and had a few laughs. Then before leaving Core of course gave Dr. Chris and his office staff kisses ( blew kisses)! He's quite the little charmer these days.

Growing Boy!

After Core's appointment we stopped off for yogurt before heading home which is one of Core's favorite things to do this summer.
(And yes, he has on a different outfit from his morning outfit. At school, he's learning to drink from a big boy cup without a lid and for the most part he's got it down, but he stills has an occasional spill.)

Yum!
