Core had his first Grandparent's Day on September 10th, two weeks ago from today. It was unfortunately on a Monday so this made it hard for out of town grandparents to attend; not sure why the preschool would plan it this way, but oh well. So with it being at the beginning of the week, I didn't even mention it to Core because we weren't sure if anyone would be able to attend. It turned out that Poppie and Gammie were able to come and surprised Core at school for his Grandparent's Day class party. It was basically just a small get together with both of the 2 year old classes with the students, teachers, some parents, and of course the "honored" grandparents. Everyone enjoyed some refreshments and the grandparents got a chance to visit with their grandchildren. Core was super excited to see his Gammie and Poppie and we are so thankful they could come visit for the day.
