Fun at the Farmer's Market

Chris, Core, and I love going to the Farmer's Market downtown on Saturdays for local Louisiana produce.  It's become a family routine for us on weekends that Chris and I are both off of work. We really look forward to our trips. We usually eat breakfast there, watch any interesting food demos from the local Culinary Institute, and purchase tomatos, milk, blueberries, flowers, baked goods, pottery, paintings/pictures etc.... whatever looks yummy and interesting to us that morning!
I thought I would share some pics of Core from some of our recent excursions.

Cousin Cameron visited a few weekends ago and we headed out mid-morning to the market.  Boy it was HOT that day....that was a quick trip!

This is one of the CAAWS dogs up for adoption,
that was trying to stay out of the heat.
Core is quite the animal lover and  immediately
wanted to visit all the potential pups for adoption.

The weekend before last when we went downtown,
Core became part of the morning entertainment by dancing with the sidewalk band!
He was having a blast and many people were just standing around watching him dance to the music!
He's got rhythm for a little guy!

After the Farmer's Market that day, we then went to campus to visit Mike the Tiger.
He was sleeping in the shade so it took a while to find him
and we couldn't really get a good look because he was tucked in the back corner.
But that didn't stop Core from enjoying the search!

I'm sure we'll be visting Mike a pretty good bit in the upcoming months!
We're counting down the days til football season!
