Oh S*#!, literally! This is what I walked in to find in Core's crib this morning, when I went to get him out of bed. I had been warned by the aroma that fulfilled his room when I walked in, but I didn't expect to find what I saw next. When I went to lift him out of bed, a found a (for lack of a more appropriate word) turd stuck in his hair behind his ear. "HOW DID THAT GET THERE", I asked. I knew the remainder of what was to be found would not be good. Apparently, Core had an explosive poop that initially had some consistency and the little ball of poop must have fallen out of his diaper and down his pajama pants into the bed. This poop was massive and leaked out of his diaper, through his pj's, and on to his bed. YUCK! I immediately picked him up, changed him and gave him a bath. But honestly it didn't even phase him. Hopefully he wasn't lying in all that poop for long. I started to wonder, is he getting sick? Then remembered that I had found him straining yesterday ( probably more info than most of you wish to know, but part of the story) and I had given him a whole capful of Miralax yesterday, instead of his usual 1/2 cap dose. So just so you know, it WORKS.
Are you LAUGHING? In the moment, I wasn't laughing but now it cracks me up! If you're a parent you can appreciate this and know that there is no way I could make this stuff up!
Little man cleaned up well, and then we were off to school for the day.
