Chris and I were both off to spend the day with our little man to celebrate his first birthday!
We started the morning by having blueberry pancakes for breakfast and of course whole milk! We've been looking forward to Core starting whole milk for two reasons really:
1. It's way more affordable than formula!
2. Core's daddy LOVES whole milk too and is looking forward to having it in the house!
My first blueberry pancake. Yummy!
After breakfast we went to the mall and rode the carousel for the first time.
Not sure why we never thought of this one before now.
After the carousel, we went to Superior Grill for lunch!
And Core was pooped! He slept the entire time.
Then Core opened his birthday Leapfrog drum and played with his birthday presents.
If you haven't heard yet, Core LOVES to dance ( or do a little jig),
whenever he hears music playing!
Next we went for a wagon ride to our neighborhood park to SWING!
(another first for Core)
He loved the swings.
We also played on the slide and the see-saw! It was a lot of fun for all three of us.
And of course we had to have CAKE!
Core had his birthday cupcake after dinner and
since he already had a little practice this weekend at his party,
he was a pro and dug in right away!
Core definitely has a sweet tooth like both, his mommy and daddy.
(Unfortunately my blog has cut me off from downloading any more pics,
so I'll have to figure out what's going on before I can share Core's cake eating picks).
When bedtime arrived tonight, Core fell fast asleep!
Hard to believe our sweet little boy is already ONE!
WHAT A YEAR!
