9 Months!

Core turned 9 months yesterday and he had his 9 month check- up today!  He is now weighing in at 18 lb. 9 oz. and is 27 inches long.  He's continuing right along on his growth curve between the 20-25% for weight and 15 % height. He has grown a whole 2 inches since his 6 month appointment.  Typically, there are no immunizations given for the 9 month check-up ( just a routine blood count and lead check are done), but it's winter so all bets are off.  Yes cold and flu season is here, so Core got his first influenza vaccine today and he will return again next month to get his second dose of the series.  He did great!  He cried briefly with his shot and didn't even cry when they stuck his finger for his blood draw. He was such a  BIG, little boy!
