2 Months

Last week on Wednesday, March 31, Core had his 2 month appointment. So you know what that means, SHOTS!   He weighed 10 pounds, 6 ounces and measured 21 3/4 inches long.  He was such a trooper.  He received four immunizations, three in his thighs by injection and one orally.  He cried just before his first injection ( I guess he could sense it was coming) and then the shots were over before we knew it. He had a whaling cry for about 10 secs and then he was completely relaxed and quickly fell asleep.  He was such a Big boy!

He was completely relaxed and content when we got home from his appointment.  Even smiling!

Core is also getting more and more playful and active.  The day before his 2 month appointment he rolled over from his tummy to his back while doing tummy time, TWICE!  Chris and I were were surprised when he did it for the first time and we both started cheering for him.  I think we scared him though because he started crying!  It was so cute. We were able to catch the second roll over on video, however I haven't been able to dowload the video from our computer to the blog to share.  But I will plan to post some playtime pics soon.
