Prior to going to bed on Saturday night on January 30th Chris said to me, " Don't wake me up unless your water breaks!" Well that did it! That night I woke up about 3:20 am and seconds later my water broke. We were off to the hospital and arrived there about 4:30 am. By 1:40 that afternoon it was time to start pushing. An hour later, still pushing! And another and another... still pushing! Then at 4:31 pm on January 31st our precious little man arrived. It was truly an indescribable feeling when we saw his sweet little face and I am sure all you other parents can relate to that feeling.
